Vintage silver plated serving tray/ platter by K&M of Sheffield, England, a region famous for silver manufacturers. The silver plated serving tray is approx 16" long x 11 5/8" wide, oval shaped with highly ornate design.
The front of the tray has beautiful fine etching that is in excellent form & there is a twisting design around the edge of the rim.
Very light scratches on the surface that do not distract.
The very center of the design is open.
The tray shows very light signs of wear & is in excellent form.
The tray is marked as A1 Plate by K&M which indicated the top level, Best silver plating.
Estimated age of manufacturer is 1910-1950
The pictures do not seem to capture the oval shape of the tray well. :( It looks round in the pics, but it is larger in reality ova&l shaped.
