This rare and beautifully hand-painted vintage tea set includes four matching cups and saucers made by Betson’s Japan, featuring traditional moriage dragonware design. Each piece showcases a raised dragon motif on a matte black and iridescent porcelain background, accented with gold detailing. Moriage Technique: Intricate raised enamel outlining the dragon gives the set its textured, 3D appearance – a hallmark of fine Japanese craftsmanship from the mid-20th century.Very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear.
