A gripping documentary that delves into the reality of "bosozoku," which could be called a major symbol of the Showa era.

From the defeat in the Pacific War, the occupation, and the post-war recovery through the Korean War special procurement to the period of rapid economic growth, times became prosperous, consumer culture expanded, and the wave of motorization swept in. However, students were consumed by campus struggles after the failure of the anti-security treaty protests by the All-Japan Federation of Student Self-Governing Associations (Zengakuren), while young people were in a state of apathy and irresponsibility filled with a sense of emptiness. In such an era, though materially rich, the hearts were cold, a group of young people with strangely energetic and passionate souls suddenly appeared. People called them "Kaminari-zoku" (Thunder Tribes) and "Bosozoku" (Motorcycle Gangs). Their energetic and powerful force spread nationwide, becoming a social phenomenon and causing various problems, and eventually disappeared like ancient dinosaurs, blowing the flute of extinction. This work, in addition to footage of gatherings and running scenes released in the past, also refers to numerous testimonies from leaders of famous teams across the country and police white papers and public documents from 1973 to 1989, neither praising nor despising, neither unilaterally affirming nor denying, but carefully accumulating the truth as much as possible, verifying and constructing from a bird's-eye view.
