Set of Two 10" Pewter Plates 1950s Colonial Casting Company

These are mid-20th century pewter plates produced by the Colonial Casting Co., located in Meriden, Connecticut. The plates feature a scalloped edge design, a common motif in Colonial Revival style.

The plates are made from pewter and are marked with both the word "Pewter" and the company's hallmark—a diamond-shaped stamp containing the letters CCC (Colonial Casting Co.). Pewter was often used in tableware for its durability and soft patina, which develops over time.
