First edition, first printing hardcover copy of City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (Margaret K. McElderry Books, 2007). Rare true first edition with full numberline and “First Edition” seal at bottom of page. The first novel in the beloved young adult fantasy series, The Mortal Instruments. A very clean copy with jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve, but with some faint rubbing and scuffing to faces. Boards straight and clean but with corners slightly bumped. Binding is firm and spine is straight. Pages clean and unmarked though tanned, with last few dozen pages more notably tanned than the earlier. See photos for condition.
