A brand new extremely well made by the Amish where I live in Indiana that is also absolutely beautiful too. This bike basket, made off 100% authentic leather straps and beautifully woven wicker by Amish women from start to finish, all by hand.
Although I have never used it I can clearly see the flat side being a very smart design idea. Amish ride a lot of bikes thus making them real experts making these and many other handmade items.. It also has 2 very sturdy genuine leather straps with brass fittings on the flat side. They are very strong looking, I would definitely feel safe to secure the basket to the handlebars and even put a puppy on kitten inside.
18.5"×9"×7.5" makes for a great size for any bike. It can be used for small dogs and cats too. The shape ensures a smooth ride. And the wicker basket is very well made. High quality product indeed. Color of wood they used is gorgeous!
