Offered is an authentic antique Reed & Barton silverplate teapot, model No. 875 Iportion, patented February 15, 1898. This elegant turn-of-the-century teapot features a classic bulbous body, curved spout, decorative handle terminals, and a domed lid with original finial. The front of the teapot is engraved with The Vend (as shown), likely denoting a hotel, restaurant, or institutional commission, adding historical character and collectibility.
The underside is clearly marked Reed lid fits properly.
A fine example of late Victorian American silverplate, ideal for collectors, display, or period décor.
